Join the block party

We pool hashrate for 8 hours and try to mine a bitcoin block together.

Everyone shares the same odds, and if we hit a block, the reward is split among all participants. Think of it as solo mining, but social.

Join from just 1,000 sats - or bring your own miner.

Zoom out

Most people think of Bitcoin mining as a competition between giant companies with warehouses full of machines.

Block Party has a different idea: what if mining is also a coordination game?

Every Saturday, Bitcoiners come together to take a shot at mining a block. Some bring their own miners. Others buy hashpower. On its own, each contribution is tiny. Together, they become something much larger.

Today, about a hundred Bitcoiners join each week. Our goal is to grow that to one thousand, one Saturday at a time. Not because a thousand is a magic number, but because it starts to demonstrate what coordinated Bitcoiners can do together.

Zoom out further. There are tens of millions of Bitcoiners in the world. If everyone contributed just $1 worth of hashpower, the crowd would collectively have enough mining power to find solo blocks every day! Not because any one person became a mining giant, but because millions of people coordinated.

Bitcoin solves incentives. Block Party is an experiment in coordination.
